a little about MY  JOURNEY

Every counselor has their own story about why they do the work they do—and for me, it’s  rooted in my personal self-discovery journey and the desire to offer others what past versions of myself needed. My path began with the transformative power of yoga, where I first experienced the  connection between the body and mind. As I continued my journey, my graduate studies brought the science behind what I had felt intuitively into focus. Learning with other mentors and teachers, I experienced the profound effects of nervous system regulation, safe relationships, self-awareness, creativity, and spirituality. 

Working in tandem, my body began to settle into a felt experience of safety — while my actions, words, and behaviors molded my life to become a version that felt more true. That evolution of change (which perhaps never ends) included moments of self-respect, synchronicity, and love, as well as loss, confusion, and grief. 

I now realize the goal is not to become “healed,” the goal is to be connected to myself; it’s that connection which allows my own inner wisdom to lead and be a source of self-support during times of discomfort. The goal is to accept my mortality and allow it to enliven each moment. I know therapy can be so much more than the traditional talk experience. It can be an integrative collaboration that honors the whole person, the duality of the human experience, and creates a space for one to reconnect to their truest self.

Like you, I am a human still figuring it out.

Through my own journey, I’ve discovered mentors and holistic practices that have helped me navigate this world less restricted by fear, shame, or trauma. I am continuing to learn how to  balance ease and effort,  surrender and striving, and honoring pain and allowing it to move to make room for something new. I want to share those practices and philosophies - and explore others from your own unique culture and  background- to help you reconnect with your truth. I don’t have the magic answer (or wand) —but I do have the willingness to be with you in your current season of life. Together we will unearth hard truths, gently tend to all parts of the human experience, and celebrate the new growth that you create.

When you work with me, I will make the intention to see you in your wholeness. I can help you understand how your nervous system, societal conditioning, and internal narrative impact your well-being. Together we will explore ways to regulate - drawing on neurobiology, eco-therapy, and holistic practices. I believe in the power of a collaborative relationship, connection to nature, and the idea that body and mind are always working in ways to keep you safe. Together, we will compost old patterns and blockages, helping you restore your sense of safety and reconnect with what feels true for you. The hope is that you will be able to move through life's experiences with an awareness of your needs, emotions, and values.

What to Expect

An exploration of Mindfulness, Ritual, Breathwork, Reiki, Meditation & Yoga

Cultivate self-awareness and take your power back. Learn to recognize your body’s internal cues when it needs support and create the capacity to hold space for internal states of discomfort. By tracing these cues to their original source, you can honor your experience and allow it to move. Through this process, you’ll enhance your ability to regulate your body’s stress response, reprogram a felt sense of safety, and tap into your deeper wisdom. 


innner-journeying work

A blending of neurobiology, the mind-body connection, building introception, and relational support. Creating space to recognize, be with, and support all of your parts and stages of life.

This integrative approach extends beyond traditional talk therapy and may include: mindfulness, breathwork, movement, creative arts, meditation, yoga & more. This mixed style builds upon your internal resources of connection, curiosity and courage.

1:1 psychotherapy

 A helpful tool to access a state of restful awareness where neurological rewiring can occur. This technique can reprogram old patterns, reduce chronic pain or anxiety and reprocess highly charged experiences.

Quiet the inner “thinking” part of your brain and allow the deeper emotional & reptilian parts to ignite new neural connections to promote healing.
